Drum Making Workshop

A drum is a medicine used as the heartbeat of Mother Earth. This is a tool for bringing out someone’s voice or songs and can be used as one beat with all the drums of the world for bringing out creative energy.

The making of a drum is a two-day sacred event as it is the creation of a medicine for personal use. One has to be in a sacred space within them and have good intentions in order to bring a drum to life. Mechuskosis and his wife Gisèle have a way of keeping the sacredness alive and the teachings of the drum are delivered in a fun and creative way.

After the workshop, you go home with a 14-inch drum made with elk hide, a beater, some songs and instructions on how to keep your drum in good condition.

Cost:  $200.00 for a 14" drum with elk hide. A $100 deposit is required upon registration. ($150 USD and $65 USD deposit). If we need to ship a drum, we will add shipping costs.

FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT COME TO A WORKSHOP AND WOULD STILL WANT A DRUM FOR THEMSELVES OR TO GIVE-AWAY, WE CAN SELL YOU A DRUM FOR THE SAME PRICE.
