Full Moon Pipe ceremony

This ceremony is to honour Grand Mother Moon every month as it reaches its fullness; we raise the Sacred Pipe in prayer and song. The Moon has been an honoured Grand Mother for the Indigenous Peoples and a guide of the cycles of life.

This honouring of the Full Moon with the Sacred Pipe is giving back for the light and the influence that the moon has had in one’s life. All pipe carriers from the Sundance tradition are given instructions to carry the pipe "for the people".
